"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has". - Margaret Mead
What do you see?
- Well contrary to what many will think he's not fat because he's lazy or because he overeats. He eats this type of food because his increasing body mass demands more and more energy and refined carbs are a quick fix high octane fuel. His body chemistry is compelling him to eat more and more...he's literally become addicted to sugar but doesn't know it. It's certainly not his fault!
NHS – Status
Despite Governmental advice and NHS guidelines the Obesity epidemic shows no sign of improvement. Why is this? Surely there's a simple solution? Standard official advice is to eat less and exercise more. Can this be right? Well it's not worked to date so what do you think. Famous Names
Sir Tom Jones has lost more than two stone on a “hunter gatherer” style diet. The 71-year-old Welsh legend said his weight rose to around 16 stones after tucking into Christmas treats. “I was putting too much weight on,” said the It’s Not Unusual singer. “I didn’t think I was going to. I left the working out off for a bit, thought I’d keep a check on it. “And with the Christmas puddings and cakes, which we get sent over, before I knew it I was 230lb, which was 30lb more than I should be. I couldn’t get into my suits. That’s when I thought this has got to stop".
Paul Walker avoids the white grain foods – breads and sugars... Walker says he eats lots of fish and enjoys read meat. He basically follows a Paleo style diet.
Eva feels so strongly that Paleo-style eating is the way to health and vibrance that’s she encouraged loved ones to try it, and the results have been amazing. “My 70-year-old mother-in-law went on the Paleo diet and cut out wheat and grains. Not only did she lose 20 pounds but her hair grew back, her sight got better and she went off all her heart medications for the first time in 10 years-just by doing this diet.”
