P makes tea! (or helps, anyway)

Quick Easy Paleo Tucker

Quick n easy, a staple paleo meal

Hi, I’m P! Mum’s just walked in the door at 5 o’clock after work and asked us kids to help make tea. B is out so me and R got to work peeling and chopping the veg for tonight’s dinner.
I chopped up the mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes to go into the mince that was on the stove cooking. R chopped and peeled some sweet potatoes for the chips. Mum did the main bit with the meat and ‘directing’ us. Really this means she sat back and had a cup of tea whilst bossing me and R around but after a long day at work that’s what most people would want to do too!
After the main meal was on and cooking, R went off to his room and mum instructed me to make a caveman custard. Big mistake! Mum might as well have made it herself the amount of times I asked her what to do next! By the time the caveman custard (eggs, coconut milk, bananas and cinnamon blended and cooked) was finished, nothing else needed to be done and mum asked me to write up the blog for today. So here I am.
Tea tonight took less than 15 minutes to prepare, who says Paleo takes too much effort? It’s harder to get the fish fingers out of the box than to make a healthy and yummy meal for tea!
